Gaz Autoschool is quite an unusual, new organisation. We are one of a small number of Environment Agency Authorised Treatment Facilities in Leicester, which means we de-pollute and dismantle end of life vehicles in accordance with current regulations. This is not particularly unusual, however the way in which we do it is. We provide vocational training placements for young persons aged 14-16 who need an alternative to ‘standard’ education provision. The students gain from working in a real working environment where they produce materials and components that have a real value (the young persons involved with dismantling this vehicle will be watching this auction closely!)

In addition to removing items we can sell, the young persons completely dismantle the vehicles so that we can separate all the plastics and other material that could otherwise end up in landfill. Current legislation requires the recovery of 85% of the material by weight of end of life vehicles - At Gaz Autoschool we are aiming for much closer to 100%.

Bid and buy with confidence. We will accept any returned item without question so long as it is returned in the same condition and packaging as supplied. We will refund the full price paid (but not the postage). Parts can be collected if you prefer – please use the ‘contact seller’ beforehand to make arrangements.

Posting: We prefer to use a 24hour insured and tracked courier service for our items, but cheaper Royal Mail options are available – just ask. We aim to despatch items within 48 hours of purchase but please note if the item is being delivered by courier they collect at 2.30pm daily and do not collect/deliver at weekends. If your requirement is more urgent we are happy to make special delivery arrangements – ask for details. Please also note that the delivery charge is to most mainland destinations but may vary for more remote locations. We are happy to post abroad, please supply a destination address and we will obtain a quote – we are equally happy for you to arrange your own courier if you prefer.

Payment: We can accept cash/card on collection, cheque, PO, credit/debit cards over the telephone or Paypal.

The final bid/purchase price includes VAT.
