Hello and welcome to the auction of my beautiful 1978 camper. Orignally imported in to the uk by south west splits (probably the best importer in the business) in 2007 she was fitted with a new 2ltr air cooled engine which has still only covered 17000 miles and runs like an absolute dream. It pulls like a tractor and sits on the motor way cruising at 70mph all day long which is very good for a vehicle of this type. The gear box is nice and solid, no vague shifts like you can experience with some older vehicles.The van had a major service (bills available) about 4 months ago and has had little use since, during the service I had a tempreature gauge fitted which the local specialist reccomended. The previous owner fitted a cat 1 alarm which incorporates remote central locking which is a nice touch. The interior has been revamped at great expense and looks awesome. It has a rock and roll bed, oversized fridge and gas hob which has never been used!The van runs on 12v electrics and has 240 hook up.The van has a rare goldie sun roof which is all origanal and in good working order. In the cab area there is a bench seat and sony remote controled CD/mp3 player. The exterior is in great condition, the van is lowered and sits on TSW alloy wheels and looks awesome, always gets lots of attention where ever we take it. There is some minor rust starting to buble through on the roof gutter and tiny spots here and there that are easily sorted, I can e-mail photos to any interested party. Now down to the all important under neath and lower six inches of the van, absolutly spotless and never been welded, I was going to underseal the van prior to sale but decided to leave it as it is to demonstrate how clean and rust free it is underneath. Also included in the sale is a cool over cover, therma mats, gas cylinder, bike rack (used once), table and chairs (band new) and a brand new 12 month MOT there is still 4 months remaining on the old one.
