Hello, and welcome to the auction of Pugsley 1976 vw camper Super Viking . This was a project that started 7 years ago, but sadly I do not have the time or space to continue his renovation needs. it has been in and out of the garage so the weather has not been so kind to him, but in the right hands could be restored to his former glory.

V5c in my name with my address on log book, registered to me 13-04-2002.

This van will need complete restoration and is not for the faint hearted (so dreamers beware) !
Roof is in great condition with no known rips tears or leaks. It has been re attached to roof for viewing and transport purposes and can easily be removed again when you need to. The oil filled supports are seized though and will require oiling/replacing. All hammocks/beds present but canvas has mildew on and will require cleaning as the roof does.

Interior appears to be all original. Sink, cooker, fridge, buddy seats seating 4 passengers in the back, seats move to make double bed, hammock over front seats, 2 hammocks in the roof with storage /small childs bed at either end making it 6 berth. 1 buddy seat has been flat packed labeled and needs re building. Set of curtains with track fitted all round.

Originally a 2ltr has now got a 1640 van engine and gearbox with beetle exhaust fitted in from a donner vehicle, running and loosely fitted for easy removal but still can be started and moved around.

Brakes are not present and vehicle is in no fit state to drive so will need to be tailored or tow dolly but do not recomend towing at all. Please make sure you have adequate transportation facilities to collect it on the arranged day or storage costs may apply.

Welding needed in all the usual areas. I have some repair items that will be offered to the winning bidder but are not included in the sale so are avaliable for separate purchase.

This will make a nice winter project for somebody and worth doing as thse things fetch a mint if done correctly, so bid and grab a bargain. REMEMBER, £75 by paypal for deposit (non refundable) and ballance of monies on collection. I hope this doesn't put genuine people off but it's to help stop time wasters, non payers etc. SORRY !
