The VPI HW-16.5 is the industry standard affordable record cleaning machine, featuring reliably build quality and an efficient cleaning process. Power has not been compromised, with the inclusion of a high-torque, 18 RPM turntable motor (which is more than capable of withstanding the pressure of heavy scrubbing during extended cleaning).
A quick 35-second cleaning cycle per side makes quick work of even the dirtiest records. Now with self aligning vacuum suction tubes for even more accurate cleaning, the HW-16.5's high-powered vacuum ensures quick, deep cleaning. In contrast to some other record cleaning machines on which you have to hold down the cleaner vacuum when in operation, the 16.5 automatically holds the vacuum down while going through its cleaning cycle and even automatically adjusts to accommodate records of any thickness.
Furthermore, the internal fluid collection system is made of stainless steel to prevent corrosion, and the fully enclosed design prevents splashing. In VPI tradition, all components are extra heavy-duty and professional grade.
This is probably the most reliable record cleaning machine currently available without any of the reliability problems associated with other models.
