VINTAGE GOEBEL c1923

"PARROT"

WALL PLAQUE. 

This extremely attractive and highly detailed wall plaque, is in excellent condition. Free from chips, cracks, hairlines, or restorations. Just a little rough spot to the base of the tail.

Measuring approx 8 1/2" x 5" (22cmx13cm) The parrot is depicted sitting on a branch, which has a bright orange floer & green leaves. The Parrot is in blue, yellow black & white.

On the reverse is a hole to hang him up, there are impressed letters FX,  numbers  74 B  a small 22, and a crown over an entwined  W G. I have been able to trace the maker, to Goebel the stamp dating back to 1923 I believe.

Not often found this rare peice is ideal for a collector,
