VINTAGE WW11 COLONEL/MAJOR ROYAL ENGINEERS UNIFORM

Comprising of Belted Tunic & Trousers

I know very little about Military Uniforms but I will do my best to describe all items.  I will list Measurements as well

Inside the inner pocket there is a label which reads:

Parsons & Stewart- 8 Charing Cross Road - WC2

No. 21077 - Date: 15.1.193? - Capt. Davies

 A belted Tunic with Ubique badges on the lapels. The Epaulettes both have Crown badge & Pips and are buttoned down with gold Metal badges Monogrammed in the centre GR V1 (George 6th) and with Royal Engineers stamped around the edge

Above the Left hand pocket is a Medal Ribbon Bar

2 Buttoned and pleated chest patch pockets as well as 2 deep lower buttoned patch pockets and one small concealed pocket. Central back vent. Deep shaped cuffs

All buttons are gold metal and have the same monogram GR V1 with Royal Engineeers stamped on them

The jacket is lined in a Brown/Gold coloured silk

The trousers are shaped at the back and have Button fly, pleated onto waistband, 2 side inset pockets, one small concealed buttoned flap pocket as well as another on the back. There are  buttons for braces. All buttons are a cream colour

None of these items have size labels inside therefore I will have to give actual Garment meaurements. Please allow an inch or two difference between your measurements and the garments depending on how comfortable a fit you require

This is a fantastic original Uniform in Excellent condition all round - Minimal wear - no marks stains - no splits - no moth holes

Perfect for a Collector or Re-enactor for Vintage Military events

I combine shipping costs. Please let me know that you will be bidding for more than one item and again if successful. I will then send you one invoice for your items together with the discounted shipping cost.

POSTAGE COSTS

Charges are kept to a minimum and depend on item weight, packing amount and type of postal service used. All items are sent out to Registered Paypal addresses only

All valuable items should have the Insurance option taken out. If this isn't on the listing please email me before payment is made and I will revise the invoice accordingly

LOST OR DAMAGED POST

Please note it is not my fault if items get lost in the post or arrive damaged. I cannot be held responsible for any uninsured items. I always obtain "proof of posting" therefore, if an item does get lost or arrives damaged please contact me and I will submit a claim to Royal Mail on your behalf. Please retain the damaged packaging as evidence. I will refund the money as soon as I receive the cheque from Royal Mail. Royal Mail does not refund packing costs and postage fees refund is at their discretion.

I cannot give a refund before the claim is processed, as Royal Mail will need to contact you to obtain your confirmation that the packet was indeed lost.

This is meant to prevent false claims and it is the Royal Mail decision and not mine

If any item is stated to be vintage or antique it will show some signs of wear. Any sizes, weights if stated are approximate. Look closely at the photographs, some will be close-ups and the item will appear to be larger than it is in reality. Colours are difficult to reproduce and the photos are not a guaranteed reproduction of the real colour although I will describe the colour to the best of my ability.

BIDDING

I reserve the right to cancel bids from any buyers who have bad/negative feedbacks

REFUNDS

I provide buyers with true, unedited photographs, an honest description of the iems and a chance to verify it prior to bidding. In the unlikely event of that I describe the item incorrectly, it will be totally unintentional and I will refund the full final bid and postage costs. The cost of returning the item will be the buyers responsibility. Any claim for a refund under these conditions must be made within 24 hours of receiving the item and the item has to be returned within seven days of receipt via Recorded post.

I cannot give a refund if buyer changes their mind, an item doesn't fit or buyers expectations are way too high
