This is  vintage "THE WORLD BOOK GLOBE" by Replogle and it has a wooden stand.  This is a 12 inch globe, has a metal side arm with the scale on it and it also has a plastic band, gauge that goes from the bottom to the top and I believe this shows flying time.  This globe has a few little marks on it where I believe someone has marked it for a reason, but what, I do not know.  Even with the marks, because they are so minor, I would consider this globe to be in excellent condition.  The wooden base shows some wear but a little Old English scratch cover would probably take care of this.  I have added $1 to actual shipping cost to help cover the expense of shipping and handling materials.  If you have questions please ask.  Thanks for looking and have fun!!
