This is a nice example of a Vintage Stuart Turner Number One Steam Engine.

The engineering standard is quite good, and it is a very old collectable engine.

This is a LARGE & powerful impressive steam engine capable of useful work.

Please look at the photograph with the Stuart Turner 10H which shows how large this engine is.

The Stuart Turner Number 10H is not included in the sale, it is only there for size comparison.

This example of a Stuart Turner Number 1 is very free running and runs very well on steam or compressed air.

The main bearings are in good order with no slop and the engine features brass main bearing lubricators with needle valve adjustment which I fitted to it recently to ensure constant main bearing lubrication when running.
