black enamel and the pin is hinged, there is a bar across the back which held a ribbon?

hallmark has standard mark (lion ) and date letter but no town

i think as far as i make out it is birmingham 1929 (capital E)

makers mark "spencer london"

pin measures in length 6.3 cms and th top measures 23 x 7 mm

bit dirty but in good condition
