SEIKO BELL-MATIC AUTOMATIC DAY/DATE WATCH WITH ALARM FUNCTION IN FANTASTIC CONDITION AND FULLY OPERATIONAL.
17 jewel movement recently cleaned and oiled and running well.
 
This is a wonderful example of beautiful Japanese watch-making from the '70s. This is a model 4006-6031 in full working order.. The stainless steel casing is in pretty good condition showing minimal signs of wear as photographed; the crystal is superbly clear.  The stainless steel case back is completely scratch-free.

The Bellmatics are very well-made, sturdy, accurate and stylish watches and this is a really good example. The alarm works by a tiny hammer inside the watch which "bangs" on the inner casing! The 17 jewel automatic movement in this one has recently been cleaned and oiled and is running well; it gives the second hand the lovely sweep movement round the original silver coloured dial which is in aged condition. One click out of the main crown allows the alarm to be set by turning anti-clockwise. This crown sets the time when pulled out two clicks; it also winds the alarm when pushed back in. The secondary function button primes the alarm when pulled out and sets the date when depressed. The watch comes ready to wear on a gold tone steel bracelet which is Seiko signed at the clasp. The watch comes ready to wear on a high quality new black leather strap which has a stainless steel buckle to compliment the case.
 
The watch will be carefully packed and posted using Royal mail "Next Day" service (which includes insurance to £500) on the day the funds clear.
