VINTAGE PEANUTS "SNOOPY'S GAME OF TIDDLYWINKS" 1979

A version of the classic Tiddlywinks game, this one being based on the "Peanuts" cartoon strip characters and called "Snoopy's Game of Tiddlywinks".   

The game is for 2 to 4 players, aged 5 to 12 according to the box.  The game is played more or less as per the traditional game but with a colourful playing/target board featuring Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown, Linus and so on.  This board sits inside the box base and is approx 12.75" square with a plastic cup in the centre.  Full playing instructions are provided on the underside of the lid.

There is a selection of plastic playing pieces, "winks" and "shooters" but some have been lost and replaced over the years.  There are 4 large "shooters" - red, green, yellow and blue and 15 "winks" - red x 4, green x 3, yellow x 4 and blue x 4.  At least one green "wink" is an obvious replacement and possibly others are too.

The game has been used but the board is still in very good condition.

There is some wear and tear to the box itself, most noticeably two split corners on the lid repaired with sticky tape and some slight creasing and scuffing here and there.   Overall though the box is in good to very good condition.
