VINTAGE SIGNED PENCIL DRAWING
ORIGINAL DRAWING OF A SETTER IN PERIOD FRAME
This is a beautiful original signed pencil drawing of a setter. Unfortunately I just cannot make out the name. McAuley perhaps? The artist is clearly talented but whether they were professional or amateur I just don't know. The painting is on board, I have included a picture of the back of the board to give you an idea of age - 1930's - 1950's I would think. I have framed and mounted the drawing myself in a period oak frame as it was badly framed when I acquired it. I also have another dog picture by the same artist.
Condition: Excellent. The frame bears a few signs of age but no damage.
Size: Frame measures 21" x 17" (53cm x 43cm) Depth ¾" (2cm) Image measures 14½" x 10½" (37cm x 26.5cm)
