VINTAGE OAK FILING ARTISTS/MAP/PLAN CHEST
This is a classic vintage oak Plan Chest made around 50 years ago.
These Chests are increasingly hard to find and are versatile enough to suit a variety of uses and settings. This example would have originally, we think, had a bottom section consisting of three more drawers but it can still be used for its designed purpose. These pieces also make great coffee/living room tables!
Of a large size, this practical Chest is constructed from a traditional mix of oak, oak ply and oak veneers and has good graining and a wonderful colour and features a polished top below which are six wide and deep drawers each with a central brass name/file holder and metal handles.
The overall dimensions are: 45" wide x 31¾" high x 36¼" deep. The interior dimensions of the drawers are: 42½" wide x 3¾" high x 32" deep. The Chest splits horizontally into two for ease of movement.
Please note that screws have been put into the sides(see photos) and there are the usual signs of use/marks commensurate with age but overall the Chest is in good condition.
This vintage oak Plan Chest is ready for immediate use and will add splendid styling to any setting.

We use Kingsley Couriers for our deliveries and items will normally be delivered within 28 days(although often sooner).

Kingsley Couriers will deliver to your door but if asked may assist with getting goods into your home(this will be at their discretion). Please be aware that drivers will be on a time schedule and clear access must be provided.

Goods are insured, to their winning bid price, until they are delivered.

We will give a full refund of the purchase price if you are not entirely satisfied although delivery charges cannot be refunded.
