Today we have a lovely Oak veneer bedside cupboard .
We believe this handy bedside cupboard was made in the 1940s/50s, but remains in very good condition for it's age and use. Medium oak in colour with a drawer at the top then a cupboard at the base, with free p&p to mainland uk. SIZE : 25 inches high 16 inches wide & 12.5 inches deep. Personal cheques, postal orders or cash on collection.
UK payments can be made via Paypal, cheque (lease allow 10 working days for clearance) and cash on collection. Payment is expected within 5 days of the end of auction/sale. All payments must have cleared before delivery is undertaken. Delivery will be arrange with winning bidder after monies have been received.
We can deliver items within a 30 mile radius at a cost of 65p per mile. Further distances please contact us for exact quote.
Where we are unable to deliver ourselves we do use a courier service and always purchase insurance.

Like many people when we first left home as well as over the years, we have bought and have inherited older, dark furniture. We have stripped these items at home, which can be a costly and time-consuming activity. We have had items caustic stripped to be very disappointed in the results. We knew there had to be a better way and after many years of research and set-backs, we finally found a product we believed in so in 2003 FOCAL POINT was established.
We offer a specialist stripping service using totally NON-CAUSTIC liquid which is suitable for all woods, beech, walnut, pine, mahogany, cherry etc. as well as being safe to use on veneers. We particularly specialise in all Oaks. The system we use does not involve submerging items into a tank so there is NO seepage of harmful chemicals into the wood. Our "flow-over" method virtually eliminates raising of grain, a common side effect of caustic stripping. The alcohol-based liquid we use requires very little drying time and there is no need for any neutralization. There is NO DAMAGE to glues or joints and NO shrinkage.
As part of our service we undertake any preparation sanding that is needed so if you choose not to use our finishing service, the furniture we return to you is completely ready to finish to your taste with no further work required.
After finding this product we then went on a search for finishing products to compliment the service we offer. While we do offer a wax finishing service we believe that this is not always practical on certain items of furniture and certain areas of the home. Again after much research we now offer a range of OIL FINISHING such as teak and lemongrass oils as well as our own blended oils which offer a WATER and HEAT resistant finish. This finish is particularly suitable for tables and items in daily use as there is little if any maintenance unlike wax which can so easily mark.
We live in a rural area and also have a young family so believe very much in caring for our environment and are therefore happy to say that our products are BIODEGRADEABLE and ENVIROMENTALLY FRIENDLY.
We are really proud of the results we have managed to achieve and have now moved to own showroom selling RECYCLED furniture from a number of periods at realistic prices that we have stripped and finished in our own workshop.
We also can now offer bespoke cabinet making where we again use RECLAIMED materials again specialising in oaks, some dating to 200 years+ along with pines,etc.
Because of the wonderful, no damage results we can achieve, we also offer an ON-SITE stripping service for staircases, skirting boards, windows, shutters, etc.
We offer a kitchen refurbishment service for doors and worktops. We can strip and refinish your old kitchen or provide new HANDMADE solid wood doors and worktops to your requirements.
We can offer STONE STRIPPING, STONE CLEANING, WOOD TURNING, GRAFFITTI REMOVAL and METAL STRIPPING services.
