I have been selected to sell portions of the famed "WADE WILLIAMS COLLECTION", long recognized world-wide as one of the finest collections of motion picture film, posters, artifacts, projectors and memorabilia in private hands. The collection includes the entire National Screen Service Warehouse of 35mm trailers, and over 1300 feature-length 35mm films from the 1930's to the 1950's, with many original Technicolor prints. Mr. Williams also is one of the largest owners of "intellectual property" including copyrights to many science fiction motion picture and television series, from Plan Nine From Outer Space to Tom Corbett-Space Cadet, Space Patrol and Tales of Tomorrow. He is an owner of the Fine Arts Theatre Group Inc., and operates first run art theatres in the Kansas City area. His collection is on DVD thru Image Entertainment and his television rights in America are with Corinth Films. The collection is so massive he has decided to start offering some of this great collection on eBay. The 27th Day 1957 NSS 57 / 104 Title Card Columbia Pictures Five Earthlings are abducted by aliens and are each given a capsule which can release a weapon so deadly that all of human-kind will be destroyed. This is a test of sorts: if all 5 can resist using the weapon for 27 days, mankind will continue on Earth but should any one of them release the weapon, all human life will be destroyed and the aliens will take the Earth as their new home. When their alien abductor makes the identities of the five known in a world-wide broadcast, they all become hunted either by the curious or their own governments. As the paranoia mounts, man threatens to destroy itself through war, without the use of the alien weapon. (source: IMDb) Part of a 7 card set. Single staplehole, top center border edge. Single pinhole to each corner border edge. Nice graphics! A rare and collectable card. (I always combine shipping on multiple wins for no extra charge. They have varying degrees of wear and are not offered in "mint" condition unless noted. They are sold "as is" and in general good condition for their age and useage. Scarce and not reproductions.
