VINTAGE MURANO GLASS FRATELLI TOSO
BUTTERFLY DISH
 


 

This listing is for a beautiful Murano "Butterfly" dish or bowl designed by Fratelli Toso. The color is bright yellow with gold aventurina swirls cased in clear glass with a  white glass base. Similar butterfly dishes can be seen in ITALIAN GLASS: CENTURY 20 by Leslie Pina. It measures about 8 1/2 inches square and 2 1/2 inches tall. It has a ground and polished pontil and base. It's in wonderful condition, with no nicks, chips, or cracks. It shows the usual base wear from sliding associated with vintage pieces. Great 50's mid century design!

Since our start in 1999, we added more categories to include an array of collectibles from throughout the 20th century. You can find anything from Antique Cast Iron Skillets to vintage Military Flight Jackets. We're also a great source of vintage Pyrex and Corelle as well. Drop in and take a look around.
