motorcycle suit:

this suit dates from the 1970s or possibly late 1960s/early 1980s

and is in good condition for it's age, having seen very little use over the years - it has been hanging in the wardrobe for the past 20 years

the suit has recently been treated with an application of leather cleaner, followed by two applications of leather conditioner;

it is fully lined, but there are 2 tears in the lining, one each side behind the zipped pockets - one tear is about 4" and the other some 10" - they would be easily repairable, and they have absolutely no adverse effect on the wearing of the suit

my measurements of the suit are:

chest: 38" (96cm)

waist: 32" (81cm)

hip: 38" (96cm)

inside leg: 27 1/2" (70cm)

 armpit to ankle: 45 1/2" (116cm)

back-collar to crotch: 35" (89cm)

underarm to wrist: 17" (43cm)

there are two zipped breast pockets,

 and

a back expansion panel (pic 4);

also

large stitched padding at elbows, knees, hips, and shoulders - this is the quality padding of the period, not the reinforced plastic inserts of later decades.

ps: the suit weighs just over 2kg and therefore exceeds the cut-off point for standard parcel post out of the UK - I will post to the USA, Japan, etc, on the understanding that the postage will be expensive, and only if the bidder contacts me first via Ebay messages
