VINTAGE HUNTLEY & PALMERS ADVERTISING PICTURE
This is another of the collection of advertising memorabilia we managed to buy recently, and is a framed picture advertisement for Huntely & Palmers Assorted chocolate biscuits. It's quite appropriate for the moment actually, as it says "For Christmas and for All Time" in red along the top with a little holly sprig at each end. This is an old picture but it has obviously been framed more recently as the frame itself looks quite newish. By the look of the packaging in the picture, I would say this was from the 40's or 50's. One of the boxes incidentally, in the picture, is for the family supply tin, which costs 7/6d and it says that the tin costs a further 8d - what happened, I wonder, if you didn't want to pay for the tin! Bit mean eh!? Anyhow, this is a very decorative advert, in excellent condition.

The large pieces of furniture, which go by road, are carefully handled by expert delivery drivers and the smaller pieces are packed very carefully, with lots of packing materials - the more fragile they are, the more packing and care they receive.
