VINTAGE French TINY (Child's?) WICKER BASKET FRUIT TRUG

A cute little vintage French cane wicker basket in very good condition.

It's either a charming little basket for a child to help with the shopping...

... or just a very small gathering basket /trug to collect fruit and veg in!

It is 11" (28 cm) high to the top of the handle - the basket is 6" (15cm) high

The top opening is 7.5" (19 cm) diameter, the base is 6" (15 cm) diameter

The basket is very strong and sturdy with no cane breaks.

The basket bottom sits on a half-inch deep cane 'pedestal' base.

The pedestal is slightly lopsided, giving the basket a charming little 'tilt'
