VINTAGE FRENCH NEEDLEPOINT GARLAND TAPESTRY PILLOW
Pretty decorative throw pillow made from a vintage French hand embroidered needlepoint depicting floral garland or wreath. Worked in soft multi-coloured wools against a cream ground. The pillow is trimmed around all four sides with antique / old vintage cotton tassel passementerie, the predominent colour being cream with pale pink and soft green accents, only antique or vintage trims are used to embellish my pillows - never repro - as my personal feeling is that older textiles deserve older trims to compliment them. The reverse is vintage cotton velvet, again from the 'dusky green' colour palette (it's a beautiful, dense, colour....no patchy areas, that's just light reflection bouncing off the pile). CONDITION REPORT: All textiles / trim in very good / excellent vintage condition with no holes, tears, clean and with no odours. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: 12 1/2 inches square with a top quality waxed cambric feather and down inner custom made for this pillow by renaissance-textiles. Waxed cambric is a strong casing that contains the feather and down and prevents the feathers escaping. Within the United Kingdom Second Class £2.70. Air Mail shipping to the U.S.A. Canada, Japan and Australia £9.96 with delivery from 5 working days. Air mail shipping to Europe £5.19 with delivery from 3 - 4 working days. Surface Mail shipping (Worldwide) £5.20 with delivery expected in approximately 8 weeks. For shipping costs to other countries, please email for information. The above shipping costs include insurance up to £39.00 GBP in the event of loss or damage only...it does not include the refund of shipping fees. A higher level of insurance can be purchased if required. Please Note: I have a 99.9% record of successful deliveries both within the U.K and overseas. However, if you choose not to take additional insurance (if required) and the unforeseen happens, I cannot be held personally responsible for loss or damage to your item once it has left my care and has passed into the hands of Royal Mail.
