VINTAGE EAPG BISCUIT OR CRACKER JAR WITH LID
MANUFACTURED BY: Possibly Imperial Glass Company
AGE / PRODUCTION: ca. 1920's - 1930's
COLOR / PATTERN: Clear Glass / possibly an Imperial Nucut Pattern
MEASUREMENTS: 7 1/2 inches tall - 5 1/8 inches in diameter - 8 3/4 inches at the handles
MARKS OR LOGOS: None
CONDITION: Good vintage condition - Has some chipping on the bottom edge of the dish (See photo 2 at the 3, 6, and 9 O'clock positions) - Other than a few tiny nicks, the lids outside rim, upper jar rim, as well as the handles, and finial, had been spared any major damage - The inside rim of the lid has large fresh chips - For safety sakes I smoothed the sharp edges down. This is a heavy piece, weighing over 4 pounds before packing.
REMARKS: Even though I can't find this pattern in my books, I believe this to be one of the Nucut patterns from Imperial Glass. With the lid on, it looks great. It's still functional, and/or make an excellent display piece.
