This very eye catching plate has an unusual pattern and I have been unable to find any information about it although I am pretty sure that the E.I.T stands for English Ironstone Tableware.Glazed with a white ground and then printed with a busy village scene in red and yellow. There is a lot going on in the picture with children playing and people going about their business surrounded by a church and houses and tall thin trunked trees in the background.This is a very pretty plate that displays beautifully as a decorative item but would also be great for serving sandwiches or cake.Check out my other items!and be sure to add me to your favourites list!
