VINTAGE BRITISH RAIL BRASS TREAD FROM TRAIN STEP










Vintage British Rail Step tread from train.
Made from brass and in very good un-worn condition.
The chequer plate style tread shows no signs of wear at all.
There are six holes along its length for fixing and in the centre are the words : BUILT BR WORKSHOPS
overall length is approx 27" and the tread is approx 2" wide all the way along its curved length.
On the underside is stamped V38330.
It weighs in excess of 2kg,  collection is an option.
