VINTAGE ART DECO BURR WALNUT COMPACTUM WARDROBE.

A LOVELY VINTAGE ART DECO WALNUT COMPACTUM WARDROBE. THE WARDROBE HAS A STEPPED SHAPED TOP OUTER EDGE WITH ROUNDED SIDE EDGES. THE TOP HALF OF THE DOORS ARE BURR WALNUT WITH CROSS BANDED BORDER BELOW AND CARVED FLORAL MOULDINGS.

WE WOULD DATE THIS ART DECO COMPACTUM WARDROBE CIRCA 1930`s.

THE OVERALL DIMENSIONS ARE 64 INCHES HIGH, 37 INCHES WIDE AND 20 INCHES DEEP.

A GOOD SIZED WARDROBE WHICH HAS 4 FIXED SHELVES AT THE RIGHT SIDE AND HANGING AREA AT THE LEFT.

THE TOP 3 SHELVES ARE 12 INCHES WIDE, 13 INCHES DEEP AND 12, 13 , 12  INCHES HIGH. THE LOWEST SHELF IS 12 INCHES WIDE, 16 INCHES DEEP AND 13 INCHES HIGH.

THE LEFT SIDE HAS A GOOD SIZED HANGING AREA WITH CHROME SLIDE OUT BAR, THIS AREA MEASURES 52 INCHES HIGH,  22 INCHES WIDE AND 18 INCHES DEEP.

THE RIGHT SIDE DOOR HAS A HANGING RAIL ON THE INSIDE, A SLIDING BOLT SECURES THE LEFT SIDED DOOR.

THE WARDROBE HAS A WORKING LOCK  AND KEY.

A GOOD QUALITY AND WELL MADE ART DECO BURR WALNUT COMPACTUM WARDROBE, WHICH IS IN GOOD SOLID CONDITION. THERE ARE SOME MARKS COMMENSURATE WITH AGE AND USE. THERE ARE SOME LITTLE VENEER REPAIRS MOSTLY AT THE BOTTOM EDGES THIS IS NOT VERY NOTICEABLE AND DOES NOT SPOIL ITS APPEARANCE.

THE COMPACTUM WOULD COMPLIMENT ANY SETTING AND PROVIDE MANY MORE YEARS OF USE AND ART DECO STYLE.
