VINTAGE 5 PC CELLULOID OR PYRALIN DRESSER/ VANITY SET






This listing is for five pieces of a vintage Green Pearl (1920's-1930's) Pyralin Celluloid Dresser or Vanity Set. The color may be called Nile Green. All plastic pieces are in excellent condition with no apparent damage. Very nice 13 1/4 inch hand mirror. No signs of back paint corrosion. The black accent of the embossed pattern on the hair brush has worn off. The amber glass powder jar or hair receiver is free of any nicks, chips, or cracks.

After much confusion about what Pyralin is; I was able to find out that Pyralin is just a trade name that Dupont had given to thier brand of celluloid plastic. I can find the name used as far back as the late teens (ca.1917) by Dupont for the auto industry.

Makes a great gift for the collector. No reserve!
