VINTAGE 3 TIER WATERFALL CHANDELIER, needs some work

This vintage 3 tier waterfall chandelier has 89 cut glass droplets with 91 octagonal above.  In other words, 2 icicles or droplets are missing.  It is designed to fit over an existing light and has two long metal hanging chains.  I am not sure if these are designed to 'fold back' on themselves and form a 4 strand bridal, or be a longish drop as shown In the picture.   It needs some additional fixings to hang properly, which I am sure would be quite easy to do, or else the cut glass icicles - which are lovely, would make good spares.

It is made of metal and the outer rims are silver gilt.  The top 'oval' is approx 275mm wide; the icicles are approx 73mm; hexagonals 15mm and the metal hanging chains both approx 970mm.

I am not sure of the actual age of the chandelier, other than it hung in the dinning room of a vicar relative of mine until 1958 since when it has been with my family (mainly in a box in the loft!).
