Description

1970's tartan check kilt skirt.

The skirt is pleated to the back and does up like a kilt should - wrap round with leather buckles.

Please please please be aware that vintage items are NOT new and will have been pre-worn, some are over 40 years old, there may be imperfections but most vintage wearers agree that this adds to the history and charm of the garment - you are getting a unique piece that no one else will ever have! Sometimes, during their previous lives, these items will have been altered, if i notice this i will mention it but i am only human and sometimes i will miss things - i LOVE my customers and want them to be happy with their purchase - if you are not for any reason please please PLEASE let me know so i can do something about it - i value your custom and want you to come back time and time again.

I combine postage if you ask first before paying - if you pay first i will not combine the postage and all items will be sent seperately - ALL items you wish to combine on must be purchased within 3 days of the first item - if you are bidding on other items that end after this time please e-mail me to let me know.

Payment

Payment by paypal or UK UN-CROSSED postal orders (sent via recorded delivery) ONLY please - NO other forms of payment are accepted under ANY circumstances. Please be aware that i do not post items out until payment has cleared through my account. ALL items must be paid for within 3 days - no exceptions unless you contact me prior. If no contact has been made i do open unpaid item disputes on the 4th day and i also issue non-paying bidder strikes which can affect your bidding on other peoples items - I also ban any non-payers from my shop.

Shipping

All items with FREE postage on are sent 2nd class recorded delivery unless you upgrade your postage or it states otherwise in the listing - i will post special next day delivery if requested but be aware it is very costly and if its for a Saturday it is also an extra 3 pound on top of the special delivery charge. International postage will now be by International signed for unless stated differantly in the listing - this is due to paypals seller protection and is to cover us both. Your item(s) will be tissue wrapped and sent in a secure postal bag. We offer combined postage on all items including international and sometimes the 2nd item is shipped free of charge. As i have had an awful lot of items being returned just lately please be aware that the post office only keep recorded delivery items in their sorting office for 7 DAYS before returning them to me - IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER TO MAKE SURE THEY PICK THEIR ITEM UP IN TIME - if i have an item returned - I WILL NOT REPOST IT FREE - you will then have to pay the postage cost again to receive your item plus an additional £1.00 handling fee to cover extra paypal costs and packaging etc - so be aware and pick your parcel up in good time!!!!! or phone your sorting office to arrange re-delivery when you know you will be there to sign for it. Please do not ask to have your item sent normal delivery - due to the small minority of dishonest e-bayers out there, i no longer post items normal post - EVERYTHING goes recorded delivery or international signed for. I do not work weekends - so anything that is bought and paid for after 1 p.m on a Friday will not be posted until the following Monday (unless its bank holiday - then the item will be posted on the next available working day). I try to make sure my items are posted at cost with a very small charge for the postage bag incorporated in the shipping charges - please if you notice a huge discrepency on the postage amount e-mail me before leaving feedback or stars and i will rectify the matter. If there is a postal strike on when you buy your item - i will not post the item out on the day of the strike but hold it until the next postal day - this is to make sure it does'nt get caught up in any backlog.

Terms of Sale

I describe all my items as best i can in my listings - please do be aware that i sell vintage and good condition second hand clothing which the majority of the time will have been pre-worn, pre-washed and pre-loved! - i wash all of my items unless they are dry clean only or i am not sure if they will go through the washing machine - in this case they are aired or steam cleaned. I send ALL of my items recorded delivery - no exceptions. If you do not receive your item within 5 working days of having a despatch notice sent to you please contact me so i can look into it for you. In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your item - please do contact me asap - i am only human and do make mistakes - and will be more than happy to resolve any problems in a way that we will both be satisfied so before leaving neutral or negative feedback please do contact me.
