Opal & Diamond Gold Ring

Victorian style half hoop ring

This sophisticated opal band is inspired by a popular 1890’s late Victorian design known as 'half-hoop' ring with 'gypsy-set' opals. The stones are mounted at the same level as the metal setting. Exuding classic elegance, this sumptuous brightly-colored ring exposes five well-matched, rub-over set oval cut opals of graduating sizes

The central opal is the largest measuring approx 7mm x 5mm

The 2 opals either side measures approx 6mm x 4mm with the outer opals measuring approx 4mm x 3mm

Lovely play of colour in the opals

This assemblage of vivid-color and distinctively mounted opals constitutes an intriguing marquise-shape plaque, enhanced by a finely scalloped yellow gold perimeter glowing with milgrain set brilliant cut diamonds

The diamonds are approx 1mm in diameter each

This Victorian-inspired ring features an immaculately scrolled, highly ornate gallery extending to substantial shoulders which descends diminutively and merge to form a sturdy spherical band shank
