Absolutely fantastic, a top quality solid silver Victorian goblet with gold gilt washed interior. Hallmarked LONDON 1864 and maker Henry Holland (H.H in interlocking circles - first letter rubbed, but first part of this letter readable, - first part of an H, second letter clear H - no other maker of this period with similar mark) hope that's clear!. Jackson's silver marks states "Important maker" - Henry Holland part of Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater,. Embossed scene of two Victorian period jockeys on horses racing across the countryside, jumping a stream with fence running alongside in background and trees / bushes. Plain cartouche with two lovely embossed work of trees either side. Kinks / dings on cartouche, but don't think due to initials being erased and good silversmith probably able to polish / roll out. Lovely silver goblet, that displays very well with the two horses racing. Made by a top quality silversmith, who was a master crafsman of his trade. Weight approx 8oz (.225g) and height just over 7" (182mm). Buyer pays postage. Please see below for payment and postage details.
