Auction for - An absolutely stunning cameo brooch with two cherubs. The brooch is silver gilt which gives it the impression of being gold - it is lovely gold colour. The setting is very attractive and intricately detailed. The 2 winged cherubs are finely detailed - one sitting and the other collecting some water from what appears to be the head of an animal or bird. It has a good solid clasp.

An absolute must for any collector of cameos or a beautiful item of jewellery in its own right.

It is approx 45mm by 35mm and the main section of the brooch is about 6mm deep not including the clasp.
