This is one of two Victorian samplers that we have. This is a large sampler in wonderful condition. Made by Elizabeth Revie of Roseneath in 1871, it is in remarkably good shape for its 137 years. Roseneath is in the west of Scotland. 5 different sets of alphabet, at the bottom is a robin and also two crowns with beadwork. In its frame it measures 25 inches by 15.5 inches.
The frame is glazed solid oak from around 1960.
I can send it unframed by insured airmail to all countries outside Europe for £10, UK postage is £9.30 with the frame, or a lot less without - up to you!
Happy to combine lots.
