VICTORIAN LADY NVR 4SALE B4 CAST IRON METAl DOOR STOP

We are four generations of pack rats, who were born to shop.... it is now time to clean house due to smaller living space and "older age." Many of our treasures have been packed away for many, many years so please check back often to see all our great stuff.

This auction is for a rare doorstop.  I could not find another online anywhere.  I also checked the doorstop book I have and I found similar ones, but not this lovely lady.

She measures about 5 3/4 x 4 inches at the widest point.  All original and quite a "looker."  I don't know for sure but she is either cast iron or some kind of metal. 

She has great detail, Her shoes are a gold color, Her dress in a deep salmon hue with two deep rows of bottom ruffles both front and back. The sleeves are a puffy style with a plunging neckline also with drapes.  Her hands if you look close you can see individual dainty fingers.  She is wearing a broad brimmed bonnet that has a gold color ribbon.  She is holding a parasol behind her.  Never know when a lady feels faint from the afternoon sun! 

 Her face is very nice with puckered red lips, and bottle curls surrounding her face.  The paint on her hair was once brown, but most of the color is missing now.  I don't know what the base is, maybe onyx or ebony? Overall I think for a lady of her age she is in nice condition, of course please use the photos so you can judge for yourself.

She could be in your collection for just the very low opening no reserve bid.
