DESCRIPTION.

ON THE 28TH DECEMBER 1814 A FURTHER GENERAL ORDER WAS PUBLISHED TO THE EFFECT THAT RIFLE AND LIGHT INFANTRY CORPS AND COMPANIES WOULD WEAR ON THE SHAKOS A BUGLE HORN WITH THE NUMBER OF THE REGIMENT INSTEAD OF THE PLATE WOR BY THE REST OF THE INFANTRY OF THE LINE.

VERY SMALL PIERCED HOLES AROUND THE BADGE AS THE GENERAL PATTERN NEVER HAD LUGS.
