The Wind Out Table is a well known Victorian Invention, it extends the table by means of a winding mechanism which is operated with its own handle, the table opens in the centre, you insert the leaf and voilà you have a nice big family size table
This table has been in frequent use for the last 150 or so years, it still has its leaf, original ceramic casters and winding handle.
The mechanism works well, all in all it is a good piece for either Kitchen or Dining Room, the top has worn homely look and the legs have had a kick or two but it has some old repairs underneath but these do not affect the table's appearance or mechanism is very sound and wobble free with no wood worm or any other structural faults
When extended the table is 58” long and 40” wide, it is 29.5” high and 25” under knee height
Without the leaf the table is 42” long and 40” wide
