Victorian / Edwardian Scrap Album.

Larger Victorian / Edwardian Scrap album featuring colourful contemporary decoupage. The stiff substantial card binding cover of the album is quite worn and rather plain giving no indication of the colourful pages within. The pages of the album are a little loose ( no doubt through constant use ) and one page is detached; the blue paper is quite thin and has edges which are reinforced with a fabric strip. There is some evidence to suggest that just one page has been removed but there are 23 pages with a substantial number of really quite spectacular cut-outs placed on both sides. Although showing signs of some use the album is still a very attractive and colourful item with a sort of  homely 'patina'; some sympathetic minor repairs and perhaps a new cover might enhance it.

This is an item that may appeal to the collector or enthusiast for Victorian and Edwardian ephemera.
