This fabulous, Victorian,
18ct yellow gold and platinum,
cantering Pony Brooch
has spectacular workmanship all round.
It is marked with designer's initials -
D.S. & S as well as other hallmarks on legs.
It has a beautiful, rich pink Ruby eye,
eleven brilliant cut Diamonds
are set in its tail - each one is 3 points -
and there are four Diamonds in its mane -
approximately 45 points of Diamonds in total -
just under 1/2ct.
The Diamonds sparkle and glisten continuously
and are excellent clarity and colour -
SI 1 clarity - H colour.
A true collector's Pony Brooch!
It is quite substantial and
weighs 7 grams.
In very good condition all round
it looks gorgeous when worn.
The dimensions are
38mm across and 26mm down -
that's just over 1.5 inches
by just over 1 inch.
