One of the best of the Victorian publications for pictures and art. With articles on paintings but also ancient art, architecture, design, drawings, etchings, furniture, metalwork, sculpture, and topographical subjects.

CONDITION
Original publishers decorative cloth bindings with gilt lettering to fronts and spines, solid bindings with slight wear and fading to gilt on spines, a few plates have slight foxing, lacking 4 pages from contents list pages in the 1891 volume.
