VICTORIAN ANTIQUE BAMBOO & RATTAN OPEN BOOKCASE/c1900
This is a very pretty and stylish bookcase which is decorative as well as very useful. It is in extremely good condition, with what appears to be the original rattan covering on the sides, top and shelves. There are, as you can see in the pics, 3 spacious shelves, the top two having curved edges, and all having a double row of narrow bamboo beading to the edges. It measures 41in (103cm) wide x 42.75in (108cm) high x 14in (36cm) deep, and the condition is excellent apart from a few small nicks and scratches here and there, as you would expect, but nothing serious.

But please remember that there is normal wear and tear, and it is not always possible to show that. We take a great deal of trouble over transporting our items, whether they are large or small. The large pieces of furniture, which go by road, are carefully handled by expert delivery drivers and the smaller pieces are packed very carefully, with lots of packing materials - the more fragile they are, the more packing and care they receive.
