The CBR range has been with us for some time now and we have seen it transform over a 6 year period. We have seen variations of shape, finish, features and of course performance.

The VIBE CBR range has lead and dominated the car audio bass enclosure market since its early release. In 2006 you will see and experience the CBR range evolve once again. With its highest specification to date and with brand new features complimenting the infamous yet new look VIBE crackle, the new key design elements will only contribute further to establishing VIBE’s place as a market leader.

Constructed from 18mm MDF, jointed, glued, screwed and braced. VIBE PressureWedge™ enclosure design which helps create internal pressures to assist cone control and enhance enclosure porting. Incorporating the Brand NEW updated 12” BlackAir II+ subwoofer, with improvements such as increased magnet thickness, improved voice coil former and overall motor structure, increases the CBR EVO to NEW levels of performance and power.

Featuring the brand NEW A.R.B.S.S. (Anti Resonance Bass Support System) A newly developed technology by VIBE engineers. The A.R.B.S.S.™ system has been created to help deaden enclosure resonance, gripping the enclosure at each end the A.R.B.S.S.™ plants it firmly into its position. The system will also add support from any other surface it contacts from the side, back, front, top and bottom. Additionally it offers protection to the enclosure when fitted and removed.

All CBR Evolution enclosures now come complete with the VIBE PortPlug™ which when inserted into the alloy TurboPort™ seal the port, making an airtight sealed enclosure offering different sound characteristics. The terminals have been overhauled for 2006 – spring loaded connectors replace old screw down type for quicker and tighter clamping of speaker wire or banana plugs. Two models VIBE TP2 TwinPost™ and VIBE QP4 QuadPost™ - Quad post features 4 posts on one terminal and a NEW CNC alloy top. The VIBE TurboPort™ in the CBR EVO Active models is illuminated. UV Light beams from the port when the enclosure is on, revealing hidden graphics inside the port.

Final touches are an aluminium bar on the top of the enclosure detailing; name, type and power NEW CBR EVO badge cast from aluminium with CNC raised detail for sign off. VIBE authenticated specification badge and individual serial number.

The NEW VIBE Rubber Crackle™ finish wraps the whole enclosure in a highly durable finish, but retaining the trade mark VIBE Crackle effect.
