VESTA CASE - ROYAL TANK REGIMENT

Vesta case/matchbook holder finished in enamel and carrying the bade of the Royal Tank Regiment.

The front measures 2.1 inches by 1.6 inches and is enamelled in a mottled green with a pale yellow border. The back is plain silver metal.

Condition is probably best described as worn and well used. All surfaces are scratched and there is some enamel missing, particularly the top right corner. Additionally, the metal on the inside has reacted with the old match book inside (Bryant & May with "ceremonies of London" on the back) to cause some rusting - you can see some on the second picture and there is also some on the panel behind the matchbook.
