Vertical Wind Turbine / Generator Blades

3 blade set to fit on a vertical wind turbine

Size: Blade height: 13" (33cmts) overall height 15 3/8" (39cmts) approx.

Outside Diameter: 16" (40.5cmts) approx.

All aluminium construction.

Ideal alternative if you don't have room for a horizontal generator / tower setup. Rotates clockwise (when viewed from above).

The blades can be reversed if you need a anti-clockwise rotation, the fixing hole centre's are all the same.

Can be adapted to either a pulley system, via pillow block bearings, or direct drive for a pm motor/generator.

If fitting direct to generator, the bottom round aluminium plate, push fit's between stub shaft and the bottom support, to help protect your unit from the rain.

The stub shaft 1.000" diameter (25.40mm) has been bored out to fit a 17mm shaft size.

If you require a different size I have stub shafts with 1/2", 5/8", 16mm, as an alternative fitting. Just email me if you want one of the others sizes.

I am using a set of these blades on a PM generator (alternator) rectified to DC which gives me 12-16v on a good windy day at approx 400rpm to charge my batteries.

This unit will be flat packed, with support brackets screwed to one blade. Just requires the other two blades to be fixed on. (Any questions please ask)
