I have a similar set-up on my GTI and it works very well, leaving the original dampers means you get a supple and more comfortable ride, but the lowered ride height really reduces body roll, pitch and improves turn in on corners. The other obvious advantage are the looks, the car will sit very nicely on these springs, with a balanced and sporty look.

The springs retail at about £50 not to mention the excellent condition dampers and the fact they are already mounted saving you time and money...
