VENT-A-MATIC DGS/PBS VENTILATOR FOR DOUBLE GLAZED UNITS WITH STORMGUARD

 

This in-glass static window ventilator meets all modern gas regulations and is designed for use where continuous ventilation is mandatory.

 

It is marked with free air space opening to conform with Gas Board Recommendations - 9896mm2.

 

It is designed to be fitted into double glazed units from 12mm to 32mm thick and will fit any circular hole from 160mm to 200mm. It also features a stormguard as standard to reduce draught.

 

It is ideal for where ventilation is needed, particularly bathrooms, kitchens and damp properties. It is also useful for open fires and woodburning stoves, providing a continuous supply of fresh air to the combustion process therefore helping to prevent the build up of harmful gases.

 

The vent is injection moulded and made from UV stabilised translucent polystyrene to avoid discolouration. 

 

The vent is designed for simple 2 part fitting into the glass aperture. It is secured by a central brass bolt from the inside, which cannot be removed from the outside. For additional security and weather tightness a little clear sealant can be applied to the glazing if required. The vent can be cleaned using normal window cleaning materials.      

 

It is easy to fit and manufacturers fitting instructions are included.
