This filter set is made to the exacting standard as the VAX original branded part with the added benefit of Allergi-Screen (treatment of dust mites and air born bacteria). In independent tests this HEPA filter had a 78% better air flow efficiency than other non branded Vax filters meaning that more air is flowing to cool the motor. This causes much less wear and tear of your Vax Unit and also lowers the chance of it over heating. (This should be the only filter kit used in your VAX)

Why a HEPA Filter
The majority of airborne particles are 2.5 microns although the particles that cause the most problems for health are (respiratable size particles) as small as 0.3 microns.
Dust Mites 10 to 25 microns
Airborne Mould spores 4 + microns
Pollen 10 to 40 microns
Bacteria 0.3 to 50 microns
For an allergy free home use a Hepa Filter.
To prolong the life of the unit it is important that all filters get replaced before becoming too clogged which can also impair on the performance.
