You are looking at a 1996 Vauxhall Astra estate 2.5 V6.

The car was originally a 1.4 16v and is still on the logbook as a 1.4, I will leave it to the new owner to change.

The car has had a lot of money spent on getting it to how it is now, needs small amount of work to finish.

The car is m.o.t’d till march 13^th 2009

Taxed till end of march 2009.

So 10 months tax and test!

The car is fitted with a c25xe 2.5 v6 cavalier engine, that I removed from a cavalier that had 74,900 miles on clock.

The astra has similar mileage on speedo so it tallys up ok.

Clifford cat 1 alarm and immobiliser with remote central locking

the car is very stiff on suspension with having all new bushes etc and uprated shocks and springs, to most people this is expected but I thought I would mention it, suspension does clunk going over bumps, it is all in order mechanically this is due to the bump stops and the fact that it is all new.

BAD POINTS:

The car requires the rear door and a small part of the rear panel painting, I will be supplying all the paint etc to do so as mentioned above, the paint and bits cost me £70 but ive not had the time to paint it.

The car hasnt been driven daily in last couple of months and has been stood, battery light on dash stays on, although it is fully charged as i charged it up with a battery charger after it had been stood, and it s a new heavy duty battery so cant see there being a problem.

Brakes do squeal a little but they are all new equipment so no problem there, mechanically sound.

Just thought i'd mention these things to be honest.

The car is very fast, it surprises a lot of people. As you can see its had a lot of time and money put into it, selling due to new project.

Car must be collected within 48 hours of auction end, if you cannot do this, email me BEFORE bidding to sort prior arrangements out.  Car to be paid for in full on collection in cash. Or cheque can be left and car collected when cleared.

This is a very quick car that requires minimal work to complete, it is road legal, excellent runner and can be driven like it is if you don’t mind the yellow door.
