The Vandoren V16 alto sax reed has a thicker tip and a longer pallet than the traditional Vandoren reed, helping to produce a more brilliant and percussive sound.

Each reed is graded by sophisticated electronics to maintain consistency, and is stored in individual plastic protectors to prevent damage. It is factory sealed in a humidity barrier package at the ideal humidity level.

These reeds are for sale in singles in strength 21/2.

(As a guide - beginner players generally use 11/2 or 2, while more advanced players would use 21/2, 3 and 31/2).
