3.5ltr V8 Haynes Roadster

Built to Chris Gibbs design modified to fit Rover V8 engine and Ford Cosworth drivetrain.

ill heath forces sale with not much work to become a drivable chassis and not a lot for final completion.

Space frame stick welded by coded welder modified using 1.6mm square tube with steel floor strenghened for v8 engine

Engine is standard Rover 3.5 fitted with new Crower fast road cam. I have run the engine out of the car it has good oil pressure is quiet and does not smoke

The gearbox is Rover SD1 LT77

The proshaft is brand new custom built by D&F Propshafts.

All wishbones are stick welded using 3mm wall seamless tube and are all poly bushed.

Brand new Protech coilover suspension 12" front 275 lb/in springs, 13" rear 175 lb/in springs

The steering has all new ball joints, new front seirra hubs and steering rack.

Brand new Willwood 4 pot brake calipers and disc's.

Cosworth 2wd 7.5" LSD diff, Cosworth driveshafts and rear hubs.

17" alloys with good tyres but wheels will need refurbishing.

New EBC Clutch, thrust bearing, slave cylinder also skimmed and lightend SD1 flywheel.

New brake and clutch master cylinder.

And sierra steering column with switches.

It will make somone a great fun car, it just needs to be finnished off!
