What does the K&N air filter do?
K&N 57i Induction Kits provide added performance for many European vehicles at an economical price. 57i kits clamp-on directly to manufacturer's filter housing or directly to the engine. Most come with a flexible air intake tube which directs cool air towards the filter element. 57i induction kits come with K&N’s 10 year/million mile limited warranty.
K&N intake systems replace your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle's engine to inhale a larger volume of air than the OEM air filter assembly.
More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The filters on these kits are washable and reusable. Most of our intake kits are relatively easy to install using tools commonly available.

• Why Is it beneficial to fit the K&N filter type?.
  The paper filter element supplied as standard with all Carburettor types is normally a very cheaply manufactured service item, replacing it with he K&N free flow serviceable filter will not only improve engine air flow but also provide for usage that is guaranteed for the life of your engine.
  
  
• Do you supply filter upgrades to fit 4 Barrel carburettor's and USA V8 Engine Variants including larger capacity?.
  Yes most 4 barrel Carbs no matter what the brand name feature the same fitting and aperture sizes so we can supply K&N filter upgrades is suitable for almost all Carburettors of this style including many 2 Barrel models too.
  
  
• Should I use a K&N filter on my V8 Engine with LPG.
  Yes and no. No for conventional draw through (single point) LPG systems and yes for later injected LPG including sequential types. More information on this if requested.
  

• Your postage is not the cheapest. Why is this?.
  When you consider the construction type of this product and the need for appropriate safe packaging, together with the choice of delivery company, you will see that we will do all that is possible to ensure, that not only your package arrives on time but  in great shape.
  We could make delivery a smidgen cheaper, but no one would ever thank us if their purchase, no matter how heavy or fragile, arrived crushed, split, fragmented, late or even not at all.
