Here we are listing a Brand New 95 Litre Elipsiod 4-hole LPG/Gas tank.

These tanks are manufactured to exacting and exemplary standards by Stako.

What you get
The 95 litre Ellipsoid tank, is put in place of the spare wheel in the Range Rover P38 (post 1995) and MKIII L322 Range Rover.
We designed special brackets for simple installation, but also to ensure strength is not compromised. These can be seen in the pictures below.

The pictures below shows the tank in place on a Range Rover P38, you can see that no space what-so-ever is lost in the 'boot space', indeed you can still access the multi-changer etc.

We prefer not to fit tanks inside a vehicle but this is a very simple and straight forward installation very suitable for self fitting.

Beware of the integrity of your tanks if under-slung!.  We are seeing tanks installed using mild steel brackets that are plastic coated to hold them in place. As you can see from this picture below, the mild steel straps have rusted away leaving these tanks in a very dangerous position and ready  to leave the vehicle at any time. On any LPG tank that we fit beneath a car and  require straps, we only use Stainless Steel straps for safety and longevity.

This tank bolts in the spare wheel well with bracketing. With our other tank options for P38 Range Rovers (135 litre conversions) we always use Stainless Steel tank straps rather than mild steel plastic coated straps as we have seen conversions 4 years down the line with these plastic coated straps broken through, as can be seen in the picture below.

Our tanks are 67R01 and LPG COP II std. certificated, and incorporate safety valves and the following connections:

• Large filler hole/feed to allow refuelling as fast as with petrol, incorporating an 80% shut off valve.
• Separate fuel-level indicator.
• Separate outlet with electronic solenoid fitted.
• Larger and separate over-pressure relief valve.
• Supplied with all the above fitted and pre-pressurised to avoid contamination, ensured with perfect sealing.

All the above aspects are preferred by professional installers.
