GREETINGS TILEAHOLICS! ~ A Very unusual pair of 6" Tiles from MINTONS CHINA WORKS c1875 and in relief moulded form and depicting TWO OPPOSING and MIRROR IMAGE FORMS OF LIONS or CATS ~ Glazed in mustard yellow with brown highlights ~ These have come from a FIREPLACE CANOPY and formed the centrepiece. ~ The left hand tile has been nibbled to allow a cast iron bolt to pass through for fixing ~ Some light surface wear - Some crazing ~ But a highly unusual and attractive theme that should get you collectors seriously interested ~ These will not be seen often ~ Going - Going - Gone ~ Low start ~ No Reserve - No Problem ~ GOOD LUCK!!
